Geotex Engineering is a DBE, WBE, and HUB certified firm looking for a Marketing Assistant. Marketing Assistants help the Marketing department through event coordination, content creation, and administrative support. The ideal candidate should have a passion for excellence, client satisfaction, and enjoy making a positive impact through a collaborative team effort. This position will reside in our corporate office in Collinsville, TX.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Help organize and coordinate marketing events such as conferences, trade shows, galas, golf tournaments and company events
  • Collect and enter leads in the CRM after L&L, tradeshows, conferences for Marketing, BD, Executives
  • Create content for LinkedIn and Website
  • Assist with the production of marketing materials and collateral
  • Coordinate company business card orders
  • Provide administrative support for a variety of marketing and corporate programs

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to withstand moderate physical activity (standing, lifting, walking, bending, stooping over, reaching, etc.)
  • Ability to maintain attention and concentration for extended periods of time
  • Ability to work overtime as needed

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and comfortable with learning new software.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Discretion in handling confidential information.
