Geotex Engineering has an excellent opportunity for a Business Development Administrator at our Irving location.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Collect and enter all business development-related expenses into Precoro.
- Maintain client and prospect contact information in Unanet following business development events, meetings, and networking activities.
- Run designated Unanet reports each week and upload the information into Strety. Reports may include: website leads, closed geotechnical reports, open and closed opportunities, other assigned business development metrics.
- Review old or inactive opportunities in Unanet monthly or quarterly and coordinate with the appropriate BD representative to update or close them.
- Record meeting minutes, action items, and follow-up responsibilities during business development meetings in Strety.
- Update assigned scorecards in Strety each week.
- Conduct follow-up emails for lost geotechnical opportunities involving new or prospective clients.
- Schedule client meetings and send calendar invitations to the client, BD representative, and other required attendees.
- Coordinate Lunch & Learn events with clients.
- Opportunity and Bid Monitoring
- Other duties as assigned
Physical Demands:
- Ability to withstand moderate physical activity (standing, lifting, walking, bending, stooping over, reaching, etc.)
- Ability to maintain attention and concentration for extended periods of time
- Ability to work overtime as needed
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Strong Microsoft Office skills are required, especially Excel
- Unanet, Strety, and Precoro software experienced preferred
- Must be able to prioritize duties and tasks
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Able to work effectively with limited supervision
- Must be dependable
