Leavenworth Trail Road

Chickasaw Nation
Road Reconstruction
Construction Materials Testing

Geotex engineers and technicians provided construction inspection and materials testing for a two-lane, three-mile roadway project for the Chickasaw Nation in Bryan County, Oklahoma. This reconstructed roadway connected the Platter and Achille areas of the Chickasaw Nation’s Panola District to US Highway 70, improving access for the local Chickasaw and Indigenous communities. Previously, residents faced challenges traveling to school, work, and other essential destinations due to poor road conditions.

Funded by a $2.8 million combination of federal grants and state funds, the project included new creek crossings, improved paving, and drainage mitigation to enhance safety and longevity.

One of our very first projects, Chickasaw Nation’s Leavenworth Trail Road reconstruction project laid the foundation for our commitment to quality and responsive service. Providing construction materials testing services, we ensured the durability and safety of this Oklahoma roadway. More than a decade later, our partnership with the Chickasaw Nation remains strong, reflecting the trust and excellence that have defined us from the very beginning.  Read more about the significant impact this project had on Southern Oklahoma.
